RFP for Water Balance Analysis Study
PA invites reference for the engagement of Consultants to conduct a detailed Water Balance Analysis Study in an area covering twenty-seven (27) villages falling under the jurisdiction of five Gram Panchayats (namely, Melekote, Hegedehalli, Tubegere, Ranjagatta and Konagatta) of Doddaballapur Taluk in Bangalore Rural District, Karnataka. The area is located in the upper catchments of the Arkavathy River of the Kundanvathy watershed.
The study is being conducted as part of the requirement of USAID’s Water Energy Nexus Activity-II (WENEXA-II) Project to analyze the current scenario in the project area for effective planning and management of groundwater and other natural resources. PA Government Services is implementing WENEXA-II Project. The study area has been declared as an overexploited groundwater region in 2005 by the Department of Mines and Geology, Government of Karnataka.
Interested parties are requested to send their proposals to conduct this study. After a due diligence stage lasting not more than one month, the Consultant will be appointed to conduct the study. The selection of Consultant will be made through a competitive bidding process, details of which are included in the Terms of Reference (ToR) for engagement of consultants to conduct the study (see document below).
